New Year Ramblings

2007 was a pretty interesting year for me. I got to know so many new friends through blogging. Thank you all for visiting and also take the time to comment and I really appreciate your encouraging words and not forgetting all my silent readers. Sometime I do get curious at who are they and really wish they will leave comment . I guess they are just shy :)

As I look ahead of 2008, I’m not going to make any resolutions or goals. I know myself that I am just plain lazy or such a procrastinator that I will never achieve it so why bother making one in the first place. I will make resolutions on the Jan 1st and abandons it by the Jan 8th. Instead, I’m going to make a list of things I’m going to do.

Diana was suppose to leave for Japan on Jan 1st but got stranded at Chicago due to the plane engine problem and she only left the next day. I am glad she is safely there now. Is pretty lonely here for me without her. No SMS in the morning or daily phone calls from her to tell us she is safely home after classes or from work. I hope she is having a good time there.

We finally get to sleep on our new bed for the New Year. Carlos finished it on New Year’s Eve and not only that he clean the whole bedroom from ceiling fan to shampooing the carpet. I helped him a bit here and there. So that is how we spent our New Year’s Eve.

Anyway, I wish everyone will have a good year ahead and best wishes to all for the year 2008.

wow!! kudos to Carlos..New bed ready for new year.I 'm sure both of you worried about Diana.I think it's circle of life, our parents worried about us,and we have to worried about our children..I wish Elliot is like Carlos so rajin, willingly wanna to finish his project or don't make mess at home..I don't harap Elliot to clean and shampoo carpet but atleast don't make a mess all over!!..need Carlos to teach him his 'kung fu"!!

Pj, memang susahlah nak keep up with our resolutions so I stop making it :)I pun tak berapa suka kat carpet. Carlos tu kadang kadang rajin jugak tolong I with housework :)

Beachlover, Carlos can be very rajin if he wants to. I have to keep nagging him in order for him to finish his project. I don't know why but Carlos like shampooing the carpet :) I am glad Diana arrived safely at Tokyo and soon she will be busy with classes.

Gert,
A bit late to wish you Happy New Year. But I want to say it no matter what. Sounds like you and Carlos will have a good start for 2008. With new bed and clean carpet.

Woohoo! New bed! I am sure Carlos is no longer spending his evenings on the PC or woodworking shop and Gert is not watching TV late into the night. Haha!

PS to Zue ... are you back in the US??

Have a ball in Tokyo, Diana!
