San Juan Capistrano is a city in the southern part of OC. Is about 23 miles from Santa Ana. The city was created around Mission San Juan Capistrano, and many of the homes and strip malls there resemble the Spanish architecture. Famous for their beautiful gardens and it is also the spring home for thousands of Cliff Swallows that annually migrate from Argentina to the Mission SanJuan Capistrano on March 19th, Saint Joseph's Day.
